Wooster Announces the Creation of the Athletic Hall of Fame!
Wooster’s Alumni Council and Athletic Department are pleased to announce the creation of the Athletic Hall of Fame. We are proud and excited to honor all those who have made significant contributions to our athletic program, whether it was on the courts, fields, coaching sidelines, or in some other form. The inaugural class of inductees will be recognized during Alumni Weekend in May of 2013.
The Athletic Hall of Fame is long overdue and we want to ensure that we launch this program successfully and with all of the fanfare it deserves. We need your help to compile a list of worthy candidates. Please let us know the following (and provide as much detail as possible):
- Who were the top athletes in your class?
- Who were the best athletes during your time at Wooster?
- Who was the best coach you had at Wooster?
- Were any school records established during your time?
We are always interested in learning more about our rich athletic heritage. In addition to supplying the information above, we hope that you will share some of your most memorable athletic experiences with us. Please email us at HallofFame@woosterschool.org and we will post some of your stories under the heading “Alumni Corner.” Our goal is to embrace both our past and current programs.
