Wooster Varsity Girls Soccer Wins HVAL Tournament!!!

November 15: What a game!  The Lady Generals were down 0-3 at the half and it was looking like PDS was going to win the championship on their home field.  Wooster’s Emily Fried scored in the opening minute of the second half and that fired our team up.  Within minutes, Rachel Levy and Blair Hamilton scored to tie the contest.  The crowd began thinking that this game was meant to go to overtime, considering that the previous two meetings ended in ties.  However, Wooster kept up the pressure and scored three more goals over the next 10 minutes.  These goals were scored by Monica Dahlgren, Alex Alwang, and Raysa Ernest.  Wooster kept PDS at bay for the final 20 minutes to seal the championship.  Congratulations to the players and coaches!
