March 1: Wooster Drops their First Game of the Season in the New England Tournament Quarterfinals. The Lady Generals lost a thriller to Brimmer and May 37 – 43. This has been a remarkable season: undefeated in the HVAL, undefeated overall, winning the HVAL tournament title, and advancing to the New England tournament for the 19th consecutive season (a Wooster School and New England record). Congratulations on an amazing season!
February 25: Wooster Wins the HVAL Tournament Title and Completes an Undefeated Season!!! The Lady Generals earned an impressive and decisive win over Oakwood Friends (55-29) to capture the HVAL tournament title. Playing in front of their largest crowd of the season, complete with the painted chest boys as well as the Generals’ mascot, the Lady Generals played their most complete game of the season. With a suffocating defensive effort and an unparalleled unselfishness on the offensive end, Wooster opened the game with an 18-0 run and never looked back.
Kate MacNutt scored 18 points to pace the Lady Generals. Blair Hamilton tallied 12 points and Monica Dahlgren added 8 points. Other scorers were Emily Fried (6), Venus Okwuka (4), Allie Pfeffer (3), Anna Fisher (2), and Lucy Julian (2).
“I am so proud of our players,” said Coach MacNutt. “This was our most complete game of the season … we played an absolutely terrific game. This was our first undefeated season in 10 years and our first tournament title in the last 5 years. This has truly been a remarkable season.”
February 22: Wooster Defeats Darrow 45-12 to Advance to HVAL Tournament Championship Game!!! (Record: 15-0) Emily Fried and Monica Dahlgren each scored 10 points, while Kate MacNutt tallied 8 points to pace the Lady Generals. Other scorers were Venus Okwuka (6), Blair Hamilton (5), Lucy Julian (2), Allie Pfeffer (2), and Shauna Vines (2).
February 16: Wooster Defeats Forman 47-14 to Complete an Undefeated Season!!! (Record: 14-0) Kate MacNutt scored a game high 16 points and Blair Hamilton tallied 12 points to pace the Lady Generals. Other scorers were Emily Fried (8), Venus Okwuka (6), Allie Pfeffer (3), and Anna Fisher (2).
February 15: Wooster Defeats Marvelwood 48-27 and Goes Undefeated in the HVAL!!! (Record: 13-0) Emily Fried scored 16 points and Monica Dahlgren added 12 points to pace the Lady Generals. Other scorers were Kate MacNutt (8), Blair Hamilton (4), Venus Okwuka (4), Paige Hamilton (2), and Lucy Julian (2).
February 13: Wooster Defeats NYMA 33-18 (Record: 12-0) Kate MacNutt scored 13 points and Emily Fried tallied 6 points to lift the Lady Generals to victory. Other scorers were Blair Hamilton (4), Shauna Vines (4), Lucy Julian (2), Anna Fisher (2), and Allie Pfeffer (2).
February 11: Wooster Defeats Storm King 37-12 (Record: 11-0) Kate MacNutt and Allie Pfeffer each scored 8 points to pace the Lady Generals. Other scorers were Iris Mustich (6), Venus Okwuka (5), Katie Butcher (4), Emily Fried (2), Paige Hamilton (2), and Blair Hamilton (2).
February 8: Wooster Defeats Oakwood Friends 27-19 (Record: 10-0) Kate MacNutt scored her first career double-double with 11 points and 10 steals, while Monica Dahglren scored a career high 10 points. Emily Fried, while doing a standout job of containing the HVAL’s top player, added 3 points. Blair Hamilton added 3 points to accompany her 13 rebounds. Wooster moves to within 3 games of going undefeated in the league this season.

December 10: Wooster Improves to 3-0 with a 59-13 Win at Storm King (Record: 3-0) Emily Fried scored a career and game high 17 points, Kate MacNutt tallied 14 points, and Blair Hamilton scored 12 points. Other scorers included Monica Dahlgren (6), Paige Hamilton (4), Venus Okwuka (4), and Anna Fisher (2). All Wooster players contributed points in this game.
December 7: Wooster Improves to 2-0 on the Season! (Record: 2-0) Kate MacNutt scored a game high 18 points and Blair Hamilton tallied 12 points. Other scorers were Emily Fried (5), Monica Dahlgren (5), Lucy Julian (4), and Venus Okwuka (4). MacNutt recorded 5 assists and 5 steals, Fried recorded 5 assists and 10 steals, and Julian and Okwuka each grabbed 10 rebounds.
December 3: Wooster Beats Darrow 44-11 in Season Opener! (Record: 1-0) Kate MacNutt was the high scorer with 18 points, Lucy Julian tallied 10 points, and Venus Okwuka scored 8 points. Emily Fried, Blair Hamilton, Shauna Vines, and Anna Fisher each scored 2 points. Hamilton added 9 rebounds, 6 steals, and 6 blocks, Okwuka grabbed 15 rebounds, MacNutt recorded 8 steals, and Fried contributed 11 steals and 5 assists.
